Express Yourself With Jonathan Adler Phones

Our pup, Kramer, lounging on the sofa.

I've been a fan of Jonathan Adler forever. I love how he mixes patterns and most importantly colors. His design aesthetic has been one of my favorites for a long time. One of my favorite things to do in my space at home is to mix and match patterns and color. Our walls in our home are a blank canvas (off white colored) and I pepper them with color. Our furniture gets layered with blankets and bright pillows get thrown at them. It's like painting a bit. When I didn't have a piece of artwork to bring my colorful space together, I created my own. My design mantra is, anything goes but you have to love it!
A page out of his book, Jonathan Adler on Happy Chic Colors. LOVE!
I love The Jonathan Adler Manifesto from his book Happy Chic Colors. I believe in it too so I want to share it here with you today.

I believe that your home should make your happy.

I believe that when it comes to decorating, the wife is always right. Unless the husband is gay.

I believe in carbohydrates and to hell with the puffy consequences.

I believe minimalism is a bummer.

I believe handcrafted tchotchkes are life-enhancing.

I believe tassels are the earrings of the home.

I believe in the innate chicness of red with brown.

I believe in being under-dressed or overdressed, always.

I believe celebrities should pay full price.

I believe in Palm Beach style: Louis chairs, chinoiserie, Lilly Pulitzer, The Breakers circa '72.

I believe my designers are award-winning even though they've never actually won any.

I believe in Aid to Artisans.

I believe dogs should be allowed in stores and restaurants.

I believe you should throw out your BlackBerry and go pick some actual blackberries.

I believe my lamps will make you look younger and thinner.

I believe in irreverent luxury.

Isn't it fun? It makes me want to create my own in this type of way. It's for you really. It's your design style, your decision to let something stay or go.

Much like design, your cell phone should reflect YOU too right? When I heard that Jonathan Adler was partnering with Motorola and creating some colorful phones, I was intrigued. When given the opportunity to collaborate and share his work, I had to!

Not only are the new Jonathan Adler phones lovely, they have some great new features too including a top rated 21 MP camera, all day battery, TurboPower for world's fastest charging, a stunning 5.7" Quad HD display plus so much more!

I'd love to hear your manifesto on design!! Are you as excited as I am about the new phones? Is design a big deal for you or not? I'm so excited about these new phones, what a refreshing take on a traditionally basic product.

Jonathan Adler’s designs span furnishings to fashion. Now, he brings his penchant for impeccable craftsmanship and irreverent luxury to personal technology in an inspired collaboration with Motorola. He created three limited editions of the Moto X Pure Edition. Choose the style that fits you. To see the collection and for more information, CLICK HERE.
