Ends & Beginnings!

Monday, December 29, 2014

Hi friends! First I will address my absence; December is a month filled with a lot in our household. Last year we had family visiting us from out of state, this year we did not although December turned out to be a long drawn out month filled with many different things. We've gotten more involved with our local homeschooling families, we've been spending a lot more time at our local library, some lazy days, exploring, new friends, a secret (for now!) project I'm working on but mostly I've been just busy with everyday life. Oh and my birthday was in there too! As 2014 comes to a close I wanted to pop in and wish you all a happy rest of your year!

On Wednesday evening we welcome in 2015! Amazing how fast time flies as the years pass. While I'm not a huge fan of new year resolutions, I am a fan of intention. I love Sapha Arias's explanation of the difference between the two. She said it much more eloquently than I could have, here. So with that, I'm going to share a list of things I AM going to do in 2015.

  • I resolve to set intentions as often as possible.
  • Journal!
  • Take more pictures with my DSLR camera.
  • Travel.
  • Be love. (this is great info -- and so is this)
  • Passion over Stress.
  • Meditate
  • Results
  • Quality over Quantity
  • Creative endeavors
  • More YES than NO
  • Blog posts 2-5 times per week
What are you setting out to do in 2015? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

best,
rachel

  1. Great resolutions! I love the "more yes than no" one. One of my resolutions last year was to be braver, aka say yes to more things, experience more things, so I feel like that's in the same vein and it worked out very well for me! I also want to take more pictures with my DSLR! :)
