Make: Iced Salted Caramel Coffee
As a coffee lover, I'm constantly heading to my local coffee shop to get my fix. I rarely make anything fun at home besides just regular coffee. Today I'm sharing with you an easy do-it- yourself drink you can make at home. I found this little recipe floating around and thought I'd try my hand at it. Here's what you'll need to get started.
1. Sea Salt
2. Cocoa powder
3. K-Cup (or brew)
4. Almond milk (or milk of choice)
5. Caramel (I used goat's milk salted bourbon caramel by Fat Toad Farm! YUM!)
6. Whipped topping
First you'll add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 1 1/2 tablespoons of caramel into the bottom of your mug and mix until smooth.
Once caramel/cocoa mixture is smooth, brew your coffee into your mug. Once you've brewed coffee into mug, add 1/2 cup of warm milk of your choice. You can choose to drink this hot or cold, it's yummy either way! I then added about 6 ice cubes to drink it iced. Stir well.
Lastly, top with whipped topping, drizzle some caramel and add a pinch of sea salt! Voila, you're ready to enjoy!
peace, love & coffee,
rachel
