book, app, magazine & a great company for students!

I thought I'd share some of my favorite things at the moment. The funny thing is that none of these are tangible as they're all virtual. I have the book, The Happiness Project on my kindle and although I'm not finished with it -- it's fast becoming one of my favorite books! Have you read it? It's really helped our moving process with de-cluttering and cleaning house plus soo much more.

Do you dig yoga? Well, I really got into it a little over a month ago and have found this app so helpful when I'm not going to the studio. It talks you through the routine and shows you exactly how to do it while timing your pose. It's perfect, and it's only 99cents! For those yogi's out there, I would love to hear how you manage to get your yoga in while out of the studio?

I came across Heart Home Magazine not very long ago and I love it! The spring 2013 issue was just released and it's darling. Did I mention it's virtual and free? Make sure to check it out for some home inspiration! .. and that image with the balloons and the pink home, yeah totally reminds me of the movie UP! So cute!

Lastly, a shout-out to our college readers! Yeahh! Are you one of them? I remember the good ol' college days and the fun of carrying textbooks from class to class. You can't get away from that but you can feel better about doing it! Today I'm sharing with you a company called CampusBookRentals.com and their new program called RentBack. You can rent from CampusBookRentals.com and use their book as your own, highlight in it and have it for the whole semester if needed -- then when finished you drop it in a pre-paid envelope and send it back. OR you can rent out your textbooks to them through their RentBack program and get paid every time someone rents it out. How cool is that? The best part about these people is that they have a great heart and donate to Operation Smile, a children's charity for cleft lip & cleft palate surgeries, each time a textbook is rented. Amazing huh? I love companies who really help children in need!

happy day to you!

peace, love & happy,
R

  1. I am not into yoga, but I want to be. I am only hesitant because all the people who do it at my gym are pros and I'm afraid to look like a fool. I need to just suck it up and do it!
