Around: The Steepery {Woodbury,MN}
On Friday, we took a little trip around the cities and stopped at The Steepery in Woodbury. I've been wanting bubble tea for a few weeks so we ventured here. I was first introduced a few years ago at their Mall of America location called The Tea Garden. They're all in the same family, only this particular location has a different namesake. If you haven't been and live in Minnesota, you'll have to go. They have a large selection of bubble teas plus other goodies.
My son wanted a smoothie so he ordered a raspberry cooler with tri-color jellies. I was in the mood for something sweet and my husband something tropical. I ordered a kumquat iced tea latte with black tea and green apple jellies and my husband ordered a piña colada iced tea latte with tri-color jellies but after tasting each others, we decided to switch. We do that often and it usually works out ok. Are you a bubble tea fan? When I first tried it so many years ago I went on a kick and bought a stockpile of it to make it at home -- but it was never as good as buying it somewhere else.
If you're a local, I'd love to hear some of your favorite drink joints!
peace, love & bubble tea,
R

ReplyDeleteWhat was your drink of choice? I didn't know you were moving lady -- best of luck!
DeleteThis probably sounds bad but I have no idea what bubble tea is! Now I must find out...we have a great tea shop in town. Better check it out. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, find out and then totally try it! :) So many flavor options and once you get over the weirdness of the jellies -- you'll be addicted!

ReplyDeleteIf you are open to trying new things, you should give it a whirl. You can get sweet or something more bland for starters. They have locations in dinkytown, uptown, mall of america and Woodbury. Let me know if you try something out! :)
