Sponsor highlight: Jenn of My {Not So} Glamorous Life

by - Tuesday, October 30, 2012

Good afternoon my fine friends! I'm so excited to share this lovely sponsor with all of you! You may have seen her hanging out over on my sidebar for awhile, that's because she's such a dear. She has been one of the longest sponsors on the blog! So thank you to Jen! Without further delay, I'd like you to get to know more about her!

Meet: Jenn of My {Not So} Glamorous Life

1. Who is the lady behind the blog?
I live in Southern California, with my husband of 10 years, our three wonderful children, two dogs, and a cat! I’m a stay at home mom, but prefer to say I’m a “Domestic Engineer”. I am the VP on the board of a parent participation preschool, I volunteer at my children’s schools, and am never lost for things/tasks to do or places to be. I have forgotten what it’s like to be bored.

2. How or why did you become a blogger?
I originally began my blog to document some weight loss... I think. For over two years it was just kind of an “online journal” that I would sometimes post in, never giving it much thought. It wasn’t until about March of this year that I began to blog regularly, and with real content. When I started blogging consistently back in March, it was because it was my creative outlet. It’s one of the few things that I do just for me. Not for The Hubs, the kids, or anyone else. It’s one thing that is all my own.

3. What is your favorite thing to eat?
Fried Pickles! How terrible is that? But they are SO YUMMY.

4. Where would you like to see your life in 5 years?
In 5 years, all of my kids will be in school. I’d like to see myself either in school, or perhaps finished by then? Eventually maybe going back to work. Either way, I will still be very actively involved with my children.
5. What is one thing you hope to accomplish before the end of the year and how will you do it?
Before the end of the year, I would like to have eliminated half of my family's clothing. We have far too much clothing that we don't wear often enough to deem worthy of keeping. I will weed through it all as I do the laundry, toss what's bad, and donate what's good. This will help others who need it, while helping me keep my sanity with less laundry.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you'll stop over to visit Jenn!

peace, love & coffee,
